Accurate data is important for SEO agencies to make good decisions. As a result, every agency I\u2019ve worked for over the past 10 years has had access to Ahrefs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

So when it comes to providing specific SEO services for clients, it mostly comes down to using the different Ahrefs tools.<\/p>\n

Keyword research<\/h3>\n

Most agencies use Google Keyword Planner<\/a> (GKP) or a tool like Ahrefs\u2019 Keywords Explorer<\/a> to do their keyword research.\u00a0<\/p>\n

GKP used to be considered the most accurate keyword tool because the data came from Google. These days, however, it\u2019s probably not\u00a0true.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s why.<\/p>\n

Firstly, GKP no longer shows exact search volumes\u2014it only shows a\u00a0range.\u00a0<\/p>\n
