Otherwise, it\u2019ll probably break <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1n1WEoTvc4w8N6319wPiQrIKL9PvqT6iN7bSubGBeUHE\/copy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the Google Sheets template<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To do that, start by excluding mentions of your competitor\u2019s brand name(s) in the keyword filter. Then, import the data you downloaded from Ahrefs. To do this, navigate to the \u201cData\u201d tab and click on cell A1. Analyze each opportunity<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In general, there are two common types of content gaps you\u2019ll need to fill: domain-level and page-level.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Domain-level gaps <\/strong>occur when competitors have content about topics you\u00a0don\u2019t.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Page-level gaps<\/strong> occur when you and a competitor both have a page about the same topic, but they are ranking for more keywords than you are.
