The two intent types typically mean the searcher is close to making a purchase. Add high-potential keywords that your competitors are already using<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Including your competitors\u2019 PPC keywords in your research is a smart move because it gives you a shortcut to what\u2019s already working in your market.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how to do\u00a0that:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Plug in your competitors\u2019 domain in <a href=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/site-explorer\">Site Explorer\u2019s <\/a>Paid keywords report.<\/li>\n<li>Apply your max CPC and exclude the competitor\u2019s brand name. Setting a maximum cost-per-click makes sure you\u2019re only seeing keywords that fit your budget. We\u2019ll organize keywords based on what the searcher is looking for. This fits with Google\u2019s updated approach to keyword match types (broad, phrase, and\u00a0exact).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Format keywords as exact match<\/strong>. Exact match means your ads will only show for searches that closely match your keywords.
